Description of Art
Having spent more than 30 years of my life as an artist, I utilize various illustration techniques to create stylized images of Goddesses, women warriors and mythological beings from across several cultures and folklore. My goal with these illustrations is to empower people by connecting them with strong figures throughout history and lore. Along with these, I also create illustrations featuring some of my most favorite characters in pop culture media.
In recent years, I have also become a fan of fiber arts and creations. The pandemic was the perfect time for me to learn needle felting and begin creating cute creatures. I have also begun adding fiber details to some 2D art pieces and am excited to see where this could lead.
