How do I care for my literature cuff?
Brass will naturally oxidize overtime. This means eventually the bright gold of the cuff will turn into a deep rich gold. This process is completely natural. To slow this process, all brass pieces are coated with a wax barrier. To protect this barrier, avoid getting your piece wet. Treating your new piece as a wearable work of art (treat it with care), will prolong the life of your piece.
How do I care for my brass rings and necklaces?
Brass will naturally oxidize overtime. This means eventually the bright gold of the ring will turn into a deep rich gold. This process is completely natural. if you wish to bring back the shine of your ring, any brass cleaner will do.
DO NOT USE THIS METHOD ON THE LITERATURE CUFFS. This will remove the wax coating and remove the black.
Do you make custom orders?
I do make custom orders/commissions for people. In fact, it’s one of my favorite things! If you would like a custom piece created for you, please send me a message via my contact page and let me know what you would like created, the metal you were hoping to use (if commissioning a jewelry piece) and your budget.
How long will it take to receive my order?
If your item is in stock, it will ship in 3 to 5 days. Once it is in the mail it could take up to an additional 5 to 10 days to make it to you. If you are ordering a custom piece — depending on the complexity of the piece — it could take up to 1 month to complete your order. Due to COVID-19, I am working hard to make sure items are not delayed more, but as materials are delayed from my suppliers it may impact my estimated time frame.
How will my item ship?
Items are shipped flat rate USPS. Currently I am only able to ship to the US. If you are located elsewhere and would like to discuss options, send me a message and I am happy to try to work with you to find a solution.
Do you offer returns and/or exchanges?
Due to the nature of my products I do not offer returns or exchanges at this time. If an item arrives damaged, simply return the damaged item and I will send you a new one.
